Egypt

Itineraries

Egypt offers a wealth of ancient history dating back 5,000 years and also a feast of natural beauty particularly centered on the River Nile. Magnificent temples and tombs of Pharaonic times dominate Luxor, Aswan and Abu Simble and near Cairo itself one may see the famous  pyramids which also feature an impressive 'Sound and Light' show. The fabled finds of Tutankhamen's tomb are in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo: the gold adornment is dazzling. In Cairo, too, there are historic mosques and churches, bustling bazaars where one may still find

many of the crafts of the East. Egypt can be visited on its own or combined with Israel and/or Jordan to make a wonderful Middle East tour.
